Scoot Airlines, Tourism Queensland, Gold Coast Tourism and Gold Coast Airport today jointly announced a partnership agreement that will see Scoot as the first airline to fly direct between Singapore and the Gold Coast. Scoot has begin with 5 on-stop flights to Gold Coast a week from mid 2012.

Scoot Pte Ltd. is a low-cost long-haul airline which was declared by parent organisation Singapore Airways in May 2011. It had been subsequently introduced on one November 2011 that it will be named Scoot. It is low cost carrier with forty percent less ticket price tag than normal carriers.Initial fleet is of 4 Boeing 777 aircraft.
